Buying and using sodai gomi stickers

In Tokyo’s wards you pay the sodai gomi fee with stickers called 粗大ごみ処理券 (shoriken).
All four wards on this site sell two kinds: A (¥200) and B (¥300).

Steps

  1. Apply to your ward and confirm the fee for each item.
  2. Buy stickers at convenience stores or shops showing the outlet sign in your ward.
  3. Combine A and B stickers so each item’s stickers add up exactly to its fee.
  4. Write the details the ward asks for (such as your receipt number) on the stickers.
  5. Put them on each item where they can be seen, and put the item out on the pickup day.
